Chameleon Instrument Lights are interactive LED lights that adorn your musical instrument and react to the sound being played by the instrument. Many prototypes have been created so far, including brass instruments, electric guitars, mic stands, keyboards, and other light controllers.

Jim Wheaton

Hi. I'm the founder and President of Harmonic Systems, Inc. After receiving a B.S. in Philosophy (Program in Language and Mind) from M.I.T. I worked as a software developer for large corporations, startups and non-profits. I am an author or co-author on nine U.S. patents. I helped build and run an audio recording studio for several years. And I'm also an active electric bass player.

I have extensive experience as a Senior Software Engineer, programming in a variety of languages (C/C++/C#, scripting, etc). Please contact me if you would like to discuss consulting services that I can offer. My resume (below) has a detailed list of my experience.
